Kwara United forward Aisosa Junior Aimufua has returned to full fitness ahead of their NPFL clash with Kun Khalifat FC on Sunday.
The Harmony Boys have endured a slow start to the season, drawing their opener at home against Ikorodu City before falling to Rivers United in their second outing.
Fresh from winning the President Federation Cup, United are eager to bounce back to winning ways when they host Kun Khalifat FC at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl Stadium.
Their chances have received a major boost with the return of Junior, who is expected to feature in the squad this weekend.
The winger had been sidelined with an injury sustained during the ValueJet pre-season tournament in Ikenne.
A standout performer last season with five goals and six assists, Junior’s pace, energy, and dribbling ability are seen as vital weapons in breaking down opposition defenses.
His comeback is expected to strengthen Kwara United’s attack as they chase their first league victory in front of their home supporters.
